BUSINESS EQUITY PLEDGE
Pledge Vision:
Central New York’s Business Equity Pledge seeks to build and promote more inclusive and equitable workplaces in the region, and to drive progress on community-wide equity goals that will lead this effort for years to come. It is our time!
About the pledge:
The events of this year have illuminated the barriers and systems that strategically oppress historically marginalized people, disproportionately impacting the economic, health, and lived experiences of the Black/African American. Latinx and other marginalized communities. CenterState CEO believes that we have an opportunity to drive true, meaningful change and build a thriving and robust business community. We know that diversifying companies, building more inclusive workplaces, and challenging ourselves as leaders to change the status quo will yield returns that will keep our economy strong and our future bright. However, to ensure that vision, we must act now and acknowledge that aspects of our industries and workplaces need to be disrupted. We must shift.
We ask you to join us as we pull levers that will generate more inclusive practices and drive equitable change in our community. CenterState CEO’s Racial Equity and Social Impact portfolio is working internally and externally to create a Central New York that shows the world how innovation, collaboration, and focus on addressing racial equity helps a company thrive and prosper for generations to come. Will you join us?
Pledge Goals:
